Description:
This is an optional accessory for the Steel Smart Target system and is designed for PRS shooting and other long range rifle applications. This device acts as a signal repeater and will extend the distance of the RF signal up to 500 yards. Example: if a Control Hub is located near the shooting position, the Repeater can be placed 175 yards down range. The Repeater will relay the RF signal an additional 500 yards to the first Steel Smart Target. The Steel Smart Target will then relay the RF signal an additional 175 yards. Repeaters and Steel Smart Targets can continue to be stacked together in this fashion to extend the distance over 1 mile from the Control Hub!
Internet connection, cell phone service and data plans ARE NOT required to run the system!
For best results, the Repeater should be mounted as high as possible on a pole or 2x4 post.
