We estimate that as much as 95% of civilian and LE firearms training is conducted with stationary targets (we don’t classify turning target systems as moving targets). This is often due to limitations with training equipment and budgets. Our moving target systems are an affordable addition to any range and provide a valuable training tool that realistically simulates human movement. To our knowledge, there aren’t any studies that specify the types of movements that are typical in gunfights but as a general rule we know that people move unpredictably. Often times the movement is subtle and there are innocent bystanders that must be accounted for. Our moving target systems are designed to teach tracking and trapping target acquisition techniques. Our realistic targets help shooters understand their limitations and require they take responsibility for every shot fired.
