We built this Plate Rack from the ground up to handle heavy workloads in the extreme conditions required by professional shooters, commercial ranges and competition matches. We believe we’ve designed the most versatile, lowest maintenance, and most reliable Plate Rack Target on the market!
Shooting Plate Racks is one of the best ways to improve fundamentals like drawing from a holster, sight alignment, trigger control and target transitions. Time yourself and measure your progress. World class shooters will routinely clear the plates in under 3 seconds when drawing from their holsters.
Want to mix things up? Rotate the paddles 90 degrees, move to the right end of the Plate Rack and engage the targets in a straight line! Dropping the first plate reveals the second; dropping the second target exposes the third, etc.
Ready for another challenge? Shooting from the right end, rotate the first two plates closest to the right end so they are facing the right side, turn the next two plates at 45 degrees and the last two plates facing the front of the Plate Rack. Starting at the right end, engage the targets as you walk around toward the front of the Plate Rack!

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the incredible customer service I received. I began integrating steel targets into my training programs at my range. As part of additions and improvements, I was converting a narrow range bay to dedicate it for a plate rack. I ordered the plate rack in April (2025) and because the surface improvements to the narrow bay were tied to completion of a shoot house, I did not open the pallet containing the plate rack until August. To my dismay, I was missing components and hardware. Because of the 4 month span from receipt, I wasn’t sure how addressing the issue would go. I was expecting to be questioned as to why I didn’t inspect the pallet upon receipt. My reasoning was that it was better to keep the shipment intact until I was ready to assemble the plate rack. Frankly, I believed it would have been appropriate for Challenge to question this. Any concerns were wasted time. I reasonably expected the email I sent late Friday afternoon would be answered on Monday. However, I received a response late Friday night with assurances my components would be shipped Monday (and they were). I want to take this opportunity to thank Challenge for their immediate response and for rectifying the issue of missing parts immediately. This speaks highly of the company and its customer service. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
